Gay Rights Movement

The gay rights movement news are very encouraging lately. I always want to do something to help to achieve equality in this country. So right now, what I can do is transforming my ideas and support into designs that will inspire more people; or at least let them aware of how important it is to have the equal right.

I don’t believe God would ask us to be mean, to stop other people from having a normal life just because they are different. If you are gay, if your son or your daughter is gay, if you are in gay’s position, would you like to be discriminated?

You might not believe, or understand. The fact is, you don’t have to. You don’t understand not means you have the right to hurt them!

I hope one day gays don’t have to hide in the closet, and can have equal rights. God bless everyone!

Bad decision from Cafepress

I received an email from Cafepress today. They had a few anouncements in the email. Here is a quote from that email, which is really shocking to me!

Beginning June 1st: We’ll start setting prices in the Marketplace, and Shopkeepers will receive a 10% commission off the final retail prices from all Marketplace sales. This change provides our shoppers with consistent pricing that’s competitive with other online retail stores. It also allows us to better invest in a quality retail experience and continued growth.

That means every shop keeper’s earning will be reduced more than half! I am really disappointed with their bad decision. I guess it is time to leave Cafepress. If you are one of the shop keepers as well, I would suggest you to move to Zazzle as soon as possible before regret. We all have a lot of designs at Cafepress, but with the quick create many products at Zazzle, you will be amazed how fast the work can be done.

So in the future I will only update my new designs at Zazzle:

Moonlight City

Just added a new design to my doodle art gallery. It is a conceptual piece of using lines to create depth and illusion of space.

I added the moon after I scanned the drawing into Photoshop. I really like how it looks!

As usual, I always wish to have more free time. I am just too busy with study, design, illustration and also my handmade stuff.

Sometimes I have my ideas from my dream. I dream a lot, at least 3 or 4 detailed dream every night. Yes, it is very tired, but having all those different (mostly crazy) dream is very inspiring. However if I could control, I might choose to just have a good night sleep, so that I would have enough energy in day time.

Somebody Broke into My Car

Somebody broke in my car

Someone broke into my car last night, I found out this morning when I was ready to go to school

Window glass was broke, they stole my Garmin GPS.

I called Austin police to file a report, they were not very responding, really disappointing! I guess unless someone was murdered, it is impossible to wake the policemen in the early morning.

I got my car fixed, and bought a new GPS, but this time I will never keep it in the car.

Economy is bad, people are desperate.

Anyway I have another new exciting project! I am going to draw 100 of frog related images, it is a good creativity training to me!
